Meet the Founders
 
Mark Masi a licensed clinical psychologist, became inspired to help Italian Americans apply for dual citizenship after he obtained his citizenship with Italy.  Raised in a bi-lingual, bi-cultural family, Dr. Masi has furthered his proficiency in Italian by completing advanced language courses both in the US and in Italy.  He has obtained the CILS-Certficazione in Italiano come Lingua Stranieri (Certification in Italian as a Foreign Language) by the Univeristy of Siena; the CILS is recognized by the Italian Government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Dr. Masi holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, and as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, maintains a private practice and is also an Adjunct Faculty Member at National Louis University. Dedicated to helping individuals successfully complete their Italian dual citizenship applications, he is in charge of US Naturalization Record Search, US Vital Record and Apostille Services, and offers Consultation on Dual Citizenship requirements.
 
Domenico Meschino a native of Itri (LT) Italy, completed his graduate studies in Political Science from the University of Rome  “La Sapienza" and served as an officer in the Italian Army.  He then came to the U.S. where he furthered his studies and obtained a Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Northern Illinois University, and a Master's Degree Administrative Leadership at DePaul University.  He is employed as an elementary school teacher and is a former college instructor of the Italian language and culture.  In addition to teaching Italian Level 1-4 at a Community College, he has taught Italian at several private institutions.  Dottor Meschino has provided professional Italian-English translation for the past several years, and is committed to using his expertise in the Italian language and culture to help Italian Americans obtain dual citizenship with Italy.  Dott. Meschino oversees Translation Services and Italian Vital Record Procurement, and is our liaison to the Italian Consulates in the United States.

Antonio Meschino is a 1962 Law School graduate from the Univeristy of Rome, "La Sapienza" who has over 30 years of experience as an attorney in Italy.  Mr. Meschino has a solid background in working as a legal consultant to Italian companies, and  is highly acclaimed as a consumer advocate, defending the legal rights of individuals.  In addition to his experience as an attorney, Mr. Meschino has also been a teacher of the English language throughout the province of Latina, Italy.  He currently resides in Itri, Italy, and serves as the legal advisor and consultant to ICAP.  

 

Our Client Service Coordinator

 

Annamaria shares her skills in human relationships to assist our clients and prospective clients in selecting the services that they need as they prepare their Applications for Italian Citizenship, and in scheduling telephone consultations upon request.  As a first generation Italian-American, Annamaria is fluent in Italian and maintains close contact with her family members that reside in Italy.  Annamaria is an active participant and organizer of events in the Italian American Community in which she resides.  

 

Our Italian Translation Consultants

 

Daniela born in Piemonte, is a graduate of the University of Pavia who  also completed an MA at the University of Chicago.  Daniela is a univeristy teacher of the Italian language in the US.  She assists us in translating US and Italian Vital Records. 

Iosellina is from Sicily and served as an Italian Consulate Official in the New York Citizen Department. She assists us in translating US and Italian Documents, and also provides consultation for us based upon her experience as a former Citizenship Official.

Maria was born in the US to Italian parents and is a dual citizen of Italy.  A graduate from the University of Bari, she is a Univeristy teacher of Italian in the US.  Maria assists us in translating US Vital Records and in preparing written correspondence to the Consulates.

Giuseppa is a native of Sicily and a graduate of National Louis University, Chicago, Illinois, who brings to us a wealth of reading, writing, and verbal communciation skills in the Italian language at an administrative level. Giuseppa's services with us include proof reading, and assisting in special projects requiring communication in Italian. 

 

  Our Procurement Consultant in Italy

 

Lorena uses her skills in Procuring Legal Documents in Italy to assist us in following up with our Italian Vital Record Orders.  Her expertise in working with the Public Sources of the Italian Comuni is a real asset to our success in obtaining birth, marriage, and death certificates throughout all regions of Italy. Lorena handles all direct telephone contact with the Italian Civil Records Offices in Italy.  Lorena resides in Santa Maria, Catanzaro, Italy. 

 

Our Genealogist Consultant

 

Carol is a seasoned genealogist who works collaboratively with the Family History Library where she has access to both Italian and US Civil Records.  Carol assists us in searching for birth, marriage and death extracts in Italy when Civil Records are difficult to obtain from the Towns in Italy due to insufficient information (i.e. exact date of birth of the ancestor, spelling of name, etc.), and in locating US information such as places of birth, marriage, death, year of immigration, and difficult to locate census records

 

  Our Attorney Consultant in New York

 

Phiona is a practicing attorney with an office in New York who uses her knowledge and understanding of the Italian Citizenship process to obtain for our clients restricted birth, marriage and death certificates of deceased ancestors from New York City and New York State Vital Records Offices.
